LATE SUMMER GOURMET MENU
 
STARTER 1: Home-smoked tuna fillet served in slices with gratin of aubergines and parsley purée with lemon, roasted breadcrumb and home-made lemon mayonnaise. DKK 198.
 
STARTER 2: White pearl barley risotto with basil, cauliflower and mascarpone served with grilled scallops, cauliflower foam and crisp basil. DKK 198.
 
STARTER 3: Poached breast of Bornholm cockerel. Served with sautéed spring cabbage and new carrots with horseradish-flavoured sauce suprême. Small salad with apples and apple vinaigrette. DKK 189.
 
MAIN COURSE 1:  Pan-fried rye flour-dusted flounder fillet served on a bed of summer leeks, sprinkled with freshly shelled shrimps and sauce mousseline with dill and lemon. Starter: DKK 198 / Main course: DKK 248.
 
MAIN COURSE 2: Grilled veal tenderloin from Himmerland served with grilled, marinated courgettes and summer beans. Creamy tomato sauce flavoured with tarragon and strong veal glace. DKK 248.
 
CHEESE: The evening’s selection of Danish and French farm cheeses of different flavours presented at the table – six different cheeses. Served with rye biscuits, bread, olives and home-made blackcurrant compote. DKK 189.
 
DESSERT: Meringue cakes layered with sorbet of blackberries, raspberry ice-cream and white chocolate ice-cream. Decorated with raspberry and blueberry, puff and crisp fruit and Sherry Herring foam. DKK 189.

We choose the best courses and serve them as a surprise menu. (Cheeses will only be included if requested): 4 courses: DKK 548 / 5 courses: DKK 648 / 6 courses: DKK 748 / 7 courses: DKK 848.


GOURMET-MENU WINE MENU
For each course in the above gourmet-menu, we select high quality wines which are served by the glass together with the selected courses. Each bottle contains approximately five glasses. The wines that are mainly from New Zealand, Australia, France, Spain, Italy and the USA, will be described by the waiter as they are served. Per glass 112.00 DKK. Home-smoked salmon with salad of apples and celery spiced with horseradish and served on toast.


Late summer soup with leeks and potatoes, spiced with parsley and served with shrimps.


Grilled rump of Danish Himmerland veal marinated in rosemary and served with late summer salad, warm potato salad, mustard and basil mousseline sauce.


Grandmother’s plum tart with marzipan served with vanilla ice-cream

LOBSTER:
Half a fresh lobster boiled and served with toast and home-made lemon mayonnaise. Crisp salads with basil and baked tomatoes. DKK 278
 
PLATEAU DE FRUITS DE MER:
 Plate of lobster and shellfish with fresh lobster, langoustine, oysters, scallops and mussels served on ice. Served with lemon, whipped sour cream, mayonnaise, red onion vinegar, toast and salads. Per head: DKK 348 (minimum two persons).
 
CHATEAUBRIAND:
Danish beef tenderloin from Himmerland, carved at the table and served with garnish of the season, Béarnaise sauce and sauce Bordelaise and small roasted potatoes with thyme. Per head: DKK 298 (minimum two persons).
